Proposal Development: Writers & Editors

09/26/2024

Proposal development is an essential part of our business. Technical Writers and Editors offer invaluable support to ensure proposals are succinct and compliant with government requirements.

What do Technical Writers do? Technical writers work to present complex information in a way that is easy to understand. Proposals may be presented to reviewers with varying degrees of knowledge on the subject matter. It is critical for Technical Writers to reach the target audience so they can understand the content. This may involve presenting material in bulleted lists, graphics, and summaries.

What do Editors do? Technical Editors make sure the writer meets the necessary requirements. These requirements include content (substance of the document) and format (how the document looks). Editors may also make other recommendations with respect to grammar and clarity.

Every member of the Business Development Team has a part to play in the proposal development process. Technical Writers and Editors play a vital role within the proposal development team.
