Paul Fuerte is Summit’s Senior Operational Environment (OE) Training Developer for the Security Force Assistance Training Support Services (SFATSS) contract to 316th Cavalry Brigade on Fort Moore, Georgia. Paul’s primary responsibility is developing Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE) compliant training exercises/scenarios, vignettes, and support materials for the Military Advisor Training Academy (MATA) and the Brigade, including operations orders (OPORD), role player biographies and scripts, Concept of Operations (CONOP), and after-action reviews (AAR). He continuously updates all course data to maintain relevance in the OE training environment. Serving in this role since 2017, Paul provides outstanding training development support to the Military Advisor Training Academy’s (MATA) Combat Advisor Training Course, and other functional courses across the US Army Armor School and the Maneuver Center of Excellence, providing customized scenarios and operation orders (OPORDS) related to real world events. In addition to his exceptional support to MATA, Paul engineered and leads a quarterly Opposing Force (OPFOR Academy) for leaders and Soldiers in the training brigade, educating them on near peer adversary weapons and tactics, for application during training exercises at Fort Moore.
Paul is a retired U.S. Army First Sergeant. He currently lives in Harris County, GA with his wife, Stephanie, two children and a big dog, Dexter.
