MPSC Hill AFB & CAF Conference: Strengthening Connections and Gathering Insights

Kathleen Adams, Summit's Human Resources Manager, reflects on her travel to Hill AFB and attending the CAF Conference.

"I recently had the privilege of traveling to Hill AFB, UT, to attend the CAF Conference and engage directly with our MPSC team. This trip provided valuable insights into MPSC’s day-to-day operations and further strengthened collaboration between Summit and our employees on site.

The week began with an opening briefing showcasing each MPSC department, their unique roles, and their contributions to the mission. Seeing firsthand the dedication, expertise, and teamwork of our employees was truly inspiring. Throughout the week, I toured departments, observed operations, and engaged with team members to better understand their responsibilities, challenges, and accomplishments.

During the company breakout session, I shared Costpoint expense report tips and tricks, distributed the TriNet handout, and encouraged employees to complete the MPSC Summit Survey. The surveys collected during the trip have been submitted for review and will help guide opportunities for future process and workplace improvements.

It was deeply rewarding to connect in person with both current and former employees, witnessing the commitment and professionalism that drive MPSC’s success. Spending the week learning from their experiences reinforced my appreciation for the critical role they play in achieving our shared goals."
