     Summit Technologies, Inc. is proud to announce we successfully completed our Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 assessment, earning a perfect assessment score! As of October 2025, only about 366 organizations nationwide achieved final CMMC Level 2 certification, placing Summit in the top 0.2% of the estimated 220,000+ companies in the Defense Industrial Base.

     This certification is not just a compliance milestone, it is a mission enabler that empowers Summit to deliver secure, scalable, and trusted solutions to our federal customers. CMMC Level 2 certification verifies Summit has implemented and institutionalized the 110 security practices aligned with NIST SP 800-171, ensuring robust protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) across our systems and operations and reflecting Summit’s proactive investment in cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance excellence.

     The CMMC program is a key component of the DoD’s efforts to strengthen the defense industrial base against cyber threats. Achieving Level 2 certification, underscores Summit’s dedication to protecting our customers’ data, meeting evolving DoD cybersecurity requirements, and maintaining the trust placed in us as a mission partner.
